Kodak Black Arrested at Canadian Border on Drugs, Weapons Charges

February 15, 2019

Kodak Black had a very good reason for being a no-show at his Wednesday night concert in Boston: He was arrested earlier in the day at the U.S.-Canada border. Specifically, TMZ reports the rapper was taken into custody for having "at least two guns," which earned him a second-degree felony for criminal possession of a weapon. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for marijuana possession. According to TMZ, Kodak Black is still detained, and is being held on a $20,000 cash bond. Prior to news of his arrest leaking, people on his team apparently had no idea where he was or why his Boston gig was nixed.
