Kodak Black Pleads Guilty to Federal Weapons Charges
Kodak Black pleaded guilty to weapons charges in a Miami federal court Thursday, the AP reports. Prosecutors charged the rapper after he was arrested at hip-hop festival in May, saying he falsified forms to buy four firearms, one of which was found at the scene of a shooting in Pompano Beach, Florida, last March. Black told the judge he had been threatened by gangs and needed the weapons for protection, but his request for bail was denied. The rapper also faces drug and weapons charges in other states. Black faces 20 years in prison when he's sentenced November 13.
