Justin Bieber & Chance the Rapper Will Give $250,000 to Fans Affected By "These Hard Times"
One week after Justin Bieber dropped his new single "Holy" featuring Chance the Rapper, the pair have announced another joint venture together, this time to help fans in need. On Thursday, the singer and rapper each shared identical messages to their social media accounts explaining that they will be using Cash App to give away $250,000 "to those affected by these hard times," TMZ reports. To enter, they urged fans to tell their story and comment with their "$cashtag" and the hashtag "#JBChanceHoly." A fan named Katy, who lost her home, her mother's home, and her boyfriend's home to Hurricane Laura on August 27th, has already received $500 from Bieber and Chance. She shared a screenshot of the Cash App transaction to Twitter, writing in all-caps: "JUSTIN I AM SOBBING AND SHAKING AT WORK YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS WILL HELP US! Thank you SO MUCH! I COULD NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"
