Twitter Slams Lizzo After She Accuses Postmates Courier of Stealing Her Food
Lizzo's being accused of being "100 percent that b**ch" after she accused a Postmates courier of stealing her food order. On Tuesday, Lizzo wrote in a now-deleted tweet, "Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don’t fight no more." The artist also included a pic of the courier in her tweet. As Cosmopolitan reports, her followers were quick to pounce on her for her decision to out the worker. "Publicly shaming someone in the service industry (especially when you’re wealthy) is worse than stealing food," someone tweeted, while another turned Lizzo's own "Truth Hurts" lyric against her by tweeting, "Turns out she's 100 percent that snitch." Lizzo later said she was sorry. "I apologize for putting that girl on blast," she tweeted. "I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door."
