Nas finally premiered his long-awaited, Kanye West-produced album Nasir Thursday night with a livestreamed listening party on YouTube. Pitchfork notes that The-Dream appears along with Kanye on the project's fifth track, which references the two black men who were handcuffed at a Philadelphia Starbucks in April. While Nasir is Nas' first album since 2012's Life Is Good, it's also the fourth album produced by Kanye to be released in the past four weeks. First came Pusha T's Daytona, followed by West's own album Ye and his Kid Cudi collaboration Kids See Ghosts. A fifth album, a Teyana Taylor project, is expected to arrive next.
